Strategic Planning for a Professional Association

The ISC team were engaged to undertake the strategic planning process for a professional association whose mandate includes representing its members in employment matters, managing collective bargaining, and advancing practice reform. Our engagement included conducting an environmental scan to understand the internal and external factors impacting the Association. We carried out extensive stakeholder engagement to gather insights and ensure that the perspectives of a broad range of stakeholders were incorporated into the strategic plan. Additionally, we facilitated two intensive workshop days with the Association’s Directors to develop strategic priorities and action plans. The strategic plan has been instrumental in helping the Association to better manage its operations, engage with its members, and advance its mission of practice reform and advocacy. Through our structured approach, the Association now has a clear direction and actionable steps to follow in the coming years.
